Gunman kills three Israelis near Jordan border, Israeli military says By Reuters

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – A gunman killed three Israeli civilians in an assault close to the Allenby Bridge border crossing with Jordan earlier than safety forces shot him useless on Sunday, Israeli authorities stated.

“A terrorist approached the world of the Allenby Bridge from Jordan in a truck, exited the truck, and opened hearth on the Israeli safety forces working on the bridge,” the Israeli army stated.

“The terrorist was eradicated by the safety forces, three Israeli civilians have been pronounced useless because of the assault,” it stated.

The border crossing is often known as the King Hussein Bridge. It lies about halfway between Amman and Jerusalem, north of the Lifeless Sea.
