TSMC says it is a law abiding company, after report of US probe By Reuters

TAIPEI (Reuters) – Taiwanese chipmaker TSMC mentioned on Friday that it was a regulation abiding firm and dedicated to complying with legal guidelines and laws, together with export controls, following a media report the U.S. authorities was probing their dealings with China’s Huawei.

“If we have now any motive to consider there are potential points, we’ll take immediate motion to make sure compliance, together with conducting investigations and proactively speaking with related events together with prospects and regulatory authorities as vital,” it mentioned in an emailed assertion.
